Job summary

ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its client in Erie, PA, seeks an Accountant to support the Plant Controller and leadership team. You will drive intercompany transactions, month-end close, and GAAP reporting within a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 2+ years of accounting, solid GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and strong communication skills to collaborate across departments. Day shift, on-site role with potential temp-to-perm conversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 2+ years in accounting/finance with month-end close.
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls; ERP experience.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, record, and confirm intercompany transactions for accurate reporting.
• Plan and execute month-end close activities to meet tight timelines.
• Prepare and post labor/payroll entries and support reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP, tax, and management reporting.
• Assist balance sheet focus areas: cash, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, intercompany activity.
