Job&Talent in Taylor, MI is seeking a Manual Welder to join the Watson Engineering production team. You will perform high-quality welds on metal components using manual techniques, reading blueprints, and ensuring structural integrity and adherence to project specs.

This full-time position offers daytime shifts, 7:00am–3:30pm, with some Saturdays based on workload, and hourly pay between $20 and $22. Candidates should have MIG or Stick welding experience, be able to read tape measures, lift up

Qualifications

• Must have manual welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in MIG or Stick welding.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding operations on various metal components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Prepare materials by measuring and cutting as required.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace in a manufacturing environment.
