Job summary

Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. in Memphis, TN, is hiring a CNC Machinist II to support on-site manufacturing operations. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, and involves operating CNC milling machines, performing minor programming edits, and maintaining quality through precise measurement and GD&T interpretation.

You will read blueprints, use precision tools, and assist with setup, while helping maintain a safe, organized shop floor and contributing to assembly as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret CNC programs and blueprints.
• Basic shop math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Learns to perform minor edits to CNC programming and adjust speeds and feeds.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, GD&T requirements.
• Uses calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs to ensure accuracy.
• Performs setup and tooling changes under supervision.
• Maintains a neat, organized, and safe work area; assists in assembly and uses hand/power tools.
• Loads/unloads parts on machine by crane; completes quality documentation.

This position will directly assist all processes associated with CNC machining within the facility and contribute as a vital part of the production process for specialty trackwork. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with Atlantic Track.
