Job summary

Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. in Memphis, TN is seeking a CNC Machine Operator I to support first shift. You will set up and run CNC milling machines, verify dimensions, and maintain a clean, organized workstation to ensure smooth production flow.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read production drawings, and willingness to work overtime. Experience with measuring devices and crane loading will help, and we value teamwork and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

This position will directly assist all processes associated with CNC machining within the facility and serve as a vital part of the production for specialty trackwork.This role will support our 1st shift, which operates from 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday.Roles and Responsibilities:Sets up and runs all CNC milling machines, adjusting offset as neededMaintains a neat and organized work areaAssembles milling cutters onto holders and index insertsLoads and unloads parts on machine with craneEnsures products conform to order specifications and quality requirementsAssists support personnel with program, tooling, and/or machine issues as neededCompletes required quality documentationMaintains a positive and helpful attitude to other team members in the shopMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, etc.)Adequate machining and tooling knowledge – feed, speeds, and chip loadAbility to read and understand production drawingsAbility to work extra hours (overtime) if neededAbility to handle and read measuring devicesAbility to work on-site in Memphis, TennesseePreferred Qualifications:Experience operating CNC milling machinery at any levelActive in continuous improvementAtlantic Track offers a holistic benefits package, including competitive pay, 401k plan with company matching funds, health / dental / vision insurance options, life insurance, paid time off, an employee shared ownership plan, and more.
