Operate and maintain manual machining equipment with precision and efficiency; work with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK M2 and SMX controls, and more.

• Up to $35 per hour based on skill level & experience
• Full-time position
• 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manual machining equipment with precision and efficiency
• Work with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK M2 and SMX controls
• Review blueprints, samples, and instructions to ensure accuracy
• Support R&D and prototype machining projects
• Assist with sheet metal and miscellaneous shop needs as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

• Manual machining experience required (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, some exotics)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8-hour shifts
• Knowledge of steels, alloys, and NDE processes preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
