Job summary

A & H Metals, Inc. in Newark, DE is seeking skilled machinists to run and maintain manual mills and lathes, with ProtoTRAK controls and strong blueprints interpretation.

You'll contribute to R&D, prototyping, and sheet metal tasks while keeping your station safe and organized. The ideal candidate has a solid manual machining background across steels, aluminum, and stainless, with ProtoTRAK know-how preferred.

Qualifications

• Manual machining background with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Blueprint and technical drawing fluency.
• ProtoTRAK know-how preferred; Southwestern Industries experience is a plus.
• Team-first attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Run and care for manual equipment to produce precise parts.
• Set up and operate Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK controls.
• Translate drawings, samples, and instructions into accurate machining steps.
• Support research, development, and prototyping initiatives.
• Help with sheet metal tasks and other shop needs as they arise.
• Keep your station safe, tidy, and organized.
