Job summary

Renovation Brands is seeking a Concrete Products Fabricator to join our Florence, AL shop team. You’ll mix and pour cast material to epoxy, pigment, and sand formulations, then use molds to cast, finish, and package mantels and other concrete products to exact specifications.

This on-site role emphasizes craftsmanship and teamwork, with a 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule and a $17.00 hourly rate, offering a solid entry into our production floor operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cast concrete or similar materials.
• Comfortable reading and using a ruler or tape measure for precise measurements.
• Solid basic math and reading skills, able to follow detailed instructions and formulas.
• Commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in every piece produced.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Cast mantel shelves using epoxy, sand and concrete formulas.
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
• Pour, mold and demold product with different vessels and tools.
• Maintain inventory of products at workstations and perform quality checks.
• Identify defects and document when defects are identified and rework items as needed.
• Follow engineering specifications to repair assembled equipment and products.
