Tyson Foods in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Management Level Team Leader to supervise a group of hourly team members during day operations. The role involves coordinating requisitions, processing receipts, and maintaining pallet flow, while communicating with peers and upper management about daily opportunities and successes.

You will ensure adherence to safety rules, perform shift tasks, assist with scheduling, and support special projects as needed.

• Must be a strong team leader with good problem solving skills and the ability to complete special projects.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years warehousing experience; knowledge of Fresh Meats production operations and USDA regulations.
• Basic computer skills and good written and verbal communication are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a group of hourly team members during day-to-day operations; communicate daily with peers and upper management about opportunities or successes.
• Enter requisitions, process charges, and verify product pallets using the Stores system; coordinate with scheduling and traffic as needed.
• Call trailers in/out of dock doors, set up orders, and prepare paperwork for hourly team members; maintain housekeeping and safety standards.

SUMMARY: Team Member will support managing a group of hourly TM s in day to day operations and at times will manage them alone. TM will need to communicate daily with peers and upper management throughout the day with any opportunities or success that has taken place; will use Stores system daily to enter requisition enter charges process receiving s and verify product pallets; must communicate with corporate scheduling and traffic when needed; will call trailers in and out of dock doors to shag drivers and set up orders and paperwork for hourly TM s; keep up with housekeeping during shift and weekly wash downs; follow up and make sure all others are adhering to the safety rules and regulations; any other duties deemed necessary by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: At least 2 two plus years experience in warehousing; must have general knowledge of Fresh Meats production operations and techniques; food safety; inventory skills and USDA regulations.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; bilingual skills helpful.

Special Skills: Must be a strong team leader good problem solving skills and have the ability to complete special projects.

Days: Monday - Saturday / Hours may vary between 4:00am- 2:00pm

Internal Requirements:

• Cannot have 6 attendance points or more
• Cannot have any suspensions in the last 12 months

Candidates currently working at the Council Bluffs Case Ready facility will be given first consideration. If no candidate is selected from that location, applicants from other Tyson facilities will then be considered.
