Qualified candidates are bilingual (English and Mandarin), tech-proficient with web platforms, email, and MS Word, and have a quiet, secure interpreting space. 1+ year of experience and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and Mandarin with professional interpreting skills.
• Technology proficient, comfortable with web-based platforms and email.
• A quiet, secure interpreting space free from external noise.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner and deliver superior customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct.
• Follow all policies and interpreting protocols and best practices.
• Support LEP communities across diverse settings as part of LSA's interpreter network.
