Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking qualified Mandarin-English telephonic interpreters to join its network of independently contracted interpreters. You will handle on-demand calls to facilitate LEP communications across diverse settings.

This role requires full fluency in English and Mandarin, comfort with web platforms and Word, and a quiet, secure workspace. Prior interpreting experience and industry certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Mandarin required.
• Proficient with web-based platforms, email and Microsoft Word.
• Must have a quiet, secure interpreting space free from external noise.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications (CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.) preferred.

Overview

As a US based telephonic interpreter for Mandarin in LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you are responsible for handling telephone calls on demand and facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings.
