Job summary

Ni Hao Chinese is seeking enthusiastic Mandarin teachers to join our team across Southern California. Responsibilities include developing engaging lesson plans, structuring classes, assessing student progress, and collaborating with teachers and staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in Linguistics, Education, or Early Childhood Education), native Mandarin speakers with English proficiency, and passion for creative education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Linguistics, Education, or Early Childhood Education.
• Native Mandarin speaker with proficiency in English.
• Passionate about education and skilled in creative teaching methods.
• Ability to express through voice and gestures to bring lessons to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fun, effective Mandarin teaching plans.
• Provide clear lesson structures with lively pace to keep students motivated.
• Assess students’ progress and record learning outcomes.
• Create simple, engaging curricula with activities (arts, crafts, etc.).
• Establish a well-developed routine and manage a group of young learners.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to positive learning experiences for all children.
• Communicate with parents and school staff in person and via email/educational software.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and curriculum specialists to share ideas and feedback.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
