NIHAO Chinese is seeking enthusiastic Mandarin teachers to join our team. We provide afterschool programs for preschool to AP Chinese across Southern California; candidates will develop engaging Mandarin lessons and support language development in a dynamic classroom.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or higher, is a native Mandarin speaker with strong English, and enjoys creating fun activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Linguistics, Education, or Early Childhood Education.
• Native Mandarin speaker with proficiency in English.
• Passionate about education and creative teaching methods.
• Ability to express ideas clearly with voice and gestures.
• Strong problem-solving with young children (ages 4-12).
• Familiarity with education software and Google Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver fun Mandarin afterschool lessons.
• Provide structured, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
• Assess student progress and document outcomes.
• Create simple yet challenging curricula with crafts.
• Establish a positive classroom routine for groups of children.
• Show enthusiasm and commitment to positive learning experiences.
• Communicate with parents and school staff in person and by email.
• Collaborate with teachers and curriculum specialists.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
