Position: Head of Waste & Environmental Services M&A

Location: Remote

Overview:

On behalf of our client, a highly specialized boutique investment bank focused on M&A advisory across the Industrial Services sector, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Investment Banking Director/Managing Director to lead and expand the firm's Waste & Environmental Services practice.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing platform with existing tombstones relationships in the Environmental Services sector. The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO to formalize and scale the firm's coverage in this vertical, leveraging both existing infrastructure and their own network to drive deal flow and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the firm's Waste & Environmental Services vertical, including origination, execution, and client relationship management.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the practice.
• Leverage the firm's existing relationships and transaction history to deepen market penetration.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic M&A guidance and industry insights.
• Mentor and develop junior bankers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on M&A within Waste, Environmental Services, or adjacent Industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated track record of originating and executing transactions in the space.
• Deep industry relationships and a reputation as a trusted advisor.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a practice.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
