Job description

We're looking to welcome a Senior Managing Director, Growth into our organization. This individual will own the process of identifying, developing, and advancing high-impact growth opportunities across the business. The position is a senior, client-facing one, suited to someone who can translate relationships, market signals, marketing challenges, customer needs, and business priorities into qualified sales opportunities. Success in this role means sparking commercial activity, unlocking new relationships, and helping move early-stage discussions into genuine client partnerships. Fluency in both Spanish and English at an equal level is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Seek out new and expanded opportunities with clients by tapping into existing relationships, direct client feedback, market trends, partnerships, and emerging marketing and business requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-trust relationships with senior stakeholders including CMOs, Chief Digital Officers, customer and experience leaders, technology leaders, business unit heads, and other influential decision-makers
  • Identify growth opportunities within marketing functions such as customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, personalization, CRM and lifecycle marketing, content, commerce, digital experience, media, marketing technology, and measurement
  • Evaluate opportunities with discipline by considering client needs, strategic fit, commercial potential, time sensitivity, stakeholder accessibility, competitive dynamics, and likelihood of moving forward
  • Transform marketing and business challenges into structured problem statements, opportunity briefs, points of view, value propositions, stakeholder maps, and suggested courses of action
  • Spearhead early pursuit efforts, including discovery sessions, workshops, executive‑level dialogue, proposal development, credentials presentations, pilot initiatives, and pitch creation when relevant
  • Pull together the right combination of marketing strategy, customer experience, experience design, product, content, CRM, commerce, data, AI, platforms, martech, media, and technology expertise to address each opportunity
  • Enable clients to turn customer insight into growth by demonstrating how enhanced customer understanding, journey mapping, personalization, data, and technology can drive engagement, conversion, loyalty, and lifetime value
  • Pinpoint ways to help clients modernize their marketing operating models, technology ecosystems, data strategies, content operations, measurement frameworks, and customer engagement approaches
  • Take responsibility for next steps and keep commercial energy alive, ensuring opportunities move steadily from first contact through qualification, proposal, engagement, or expansion
  • Look for ways to strengthen existing client partnerships, widen the scope of current work, and introduce further marketing, experience, technology, and transformation capabilities where they add genuine value
  • Record recurring client needs, marketing trends, market signals, effective approaches, case studies, and repeatable growth tactics that help the organization scale its growth capabilities more broadly
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant background in growth, marketing transformation, client leadership, consulting, digital transformation, technology, experience strategy, agency leadership, enterprise sales, or related areas
  • At least 5 years spent operating in Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner‑level positions
  • Proven history overseeing engagements involving teams of 40 or more full‑time employees
  • Track record of originating, developing, and shaping opportunities with substantial revenue potential
  • Strong grasp of how enterprise‑level clients evaluate and purchase marketing, experience, technology, product, data, AI, and transformation offerings
  • Hands‑on experience collaborating with senior marketing, digital, customer experience, technology, or business executives
  • A career background potentially including digital agencies, marketing and experience consultancies, technology firms, martech providers, systems integrators, product and experience companies, or transformation firms
  • Demonstrated skill in uniting multidisciplinary teams around complex marketing and business opportunities while turning them into clear commercial propositions
  • Fluent English and Spanish communication skills at a B2 level or higher
  • Nice to have Relevant certification, which would serve as a valuable addition to your qualifications
