Job summary

Warner Music Group is seeking a Manager, Viral Marketing to blend traditional viral instincts with innovative approaches. You will lead campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and more to drive fan engagement and music consumption for our artist roster.

You’ll partner with artists, managers and internal teams to design creator campaigns, oversee content development, and optimize performance using real-time insights. Four days a week in-office is required.

Qualifications

Manager, Viral Marketing

A little bit about our team: Are you passionate about the intersection of music, technology, and creativity? Do you understand how emerging tools & strategies can unlock new ways to reach fans at scale? The Warner Records Viral Marketing Team is in search of a Manager, Viral Marketing who can blend traditional viral instincts with forward-looking, innovative approaches to content creation and distribution.

Your role:

We are looking for a dynamic professional with experience using generative AI and other emerging tools to drive viral campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and beyond. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of culture, an eagerness to experiment with new technology, and a track record of leveraging automation and content systems to fuel fan engagement and music consumption.

Here you’ll get to:
  • Lead viral campaign execution for your artist roster, focusing on implementing techniques to scale content production and distribution.
  • Partner closely with artists, managers, and internal departments to develop innovative creator campaigns and content strategies that align with larger marketing visions.
  • Maintain relationships with creators and knowledge of emerging fan communities, exploring how these ecosystems can accelerate adoption.
  • Oversee creative ideation and content development, ensuring campaigns are designed for speed, scale, and adaptability.
  • Develop goals, metrics, strategy, and budget for each campaign.
  • Use real-time insights and performance data to optimize quickly and continuously.
  • Create campaign recaps and post-mortems.
  • Implement campaigns at scale, including orchestrating multi-account creator posting networks and automated distribution systems.
  • Experiment with and evaluate partnerships with new technology vendors, seeding agencies, and creator networks.
About you:

2 to 4 years professional experience in influencer, social media, or digital marketing (music experience preferred but not required). Familiarity with content creation and distribution tools. Strong grasp of social platforms and digital ecosystems, with a proven ability to amplify content and build fan engagement. Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in exploring new technologies. Strong organizational, project management, and decision-making skills with acute attention to detail and deadlines. Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.

Annual Rate: $70,304 to $80,000 Annually
