Blue Origin is seeking a skilled maintenance leader to oversee cryogenic and high-pressure gas system work at the Van Horn, TX site. You will manage a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring safety, reliability, and timely maintenance of test stands.

Relocation support and travel up to 10% are provided for this role. You will drive preventative maintenance programs, analyze data for improvements, and develop leaders within the team to sustain Blue Origin’s high standards for spaceflight

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading a team of engineers and technicians.
• Experience with cryogenic systems maintenance and high-pressure pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in safe execution of cryogenic and high-pressure gas system maintenance, electrical and data system maintenance, and structural maintenance.
• Develop repair schedules and drive test asset recovery after unplanned downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for safety and reliability.
• Organize resources to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets across all maintenance phases.

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of technicians and engineers, you will help keep a rocket engine test stand well maintained. This role specializes in the maintenance that takes place on the test stand with as minimal disruption as possible to the actual test operation. In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians as well as test engineers to perform system maintenance.
