We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Talent Acquisition (TA), who will create and implement a strategic and proactive talent acquisition strategy with full executive buy-in and participation to ensure that AbbVie recruits the strongest talent for Ireland.
In this role, you will lead, coach and mentor a team of high-performing TA professionals who are responsible for early careers and experienced recruiting across operations and commercial business for six locations (Dublin, Sligo, Westport and Cork).

You will have
•A relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7+ years recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment with people leadership experience
•Must project a strong business presence and can instill confidence in clients and to deliver results.
•Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience.
• Relevant industry experience (healthcare, pharma etc.) recruitment experience strongly preferred.
•Experience in collaborating with a broader HR Organization in support of the business initiatives preferred.
•Experience in buildingstrong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.
You will raise the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo, creatinga learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement. You empower learning fast, grasping the 'essence' and can change the course quickly where indicated; truly embracingthe ideas of others, nurturing innovation and managing innovation to reality.
Travel is a must in this role to build effective, meaningful partnerships across the sites in Dublin, Sligo, Westport and Cork.
