The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at Penn Foster will lead the Talent Acquisition function across the company. This role is crucial in supporting the company's strategic priorities by overseeing all aspects of the talent acquisition plan. The Senior Manager will be responsible for hiring across all functions within the company, including corporate and front-line operational roles. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in recruitment operations, workforce planning, employer branding, and compliance. They will ensure we attract, hire, and retain top talent while maintaining a structured, compliant, and efficient hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders including business line leadership and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Provide coaching, guidance, and training to hiring managers on interviewing and selection techniques.
  2. Team Development: Mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and results. Lead the talent acquisition function, ensuring effective hiring processes.
  3. Internal Function Ownership: Take ownership of internal talent acquisition functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Implement candidate experience feedback loops and build standardized documentation such as interview guides, job descriptions, and onboarding programs.
  4. Drive Innovation: Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that leverage technology and best practices to improve recruitment efficiency and candidate experience. Conduct market analysis to refine sourcing techniques.
  5. Employer Branding: Develop and promote the company's employer brand to attract top talent. Collaborate with Marketing to enhance brand presence through marketing, social media, and industry events.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a leadership role.
  2. Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
  3. Experience recruiting in technology or education sectors is preferred.
  4. Process orientation expertise with experience in developing and optimizing scalable recruitment workflows.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead influence, adapt to dynamic environments, and manage projects independently.
  6. Ability to build and lead a high-performing team.
  7. Experience with talent acquisition technology and tools.
