The Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore is seeking a Manager, Sponsored Data and Information Systems. This new position will serve as a critical operational bridge between SPA, researchers, sponsors, and the systems that support sponsored projects across campus. The manager will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of sponsored awards, grants, and contracts. They will be responsible for maintaining data integrity across these systems, supporting business process improvements, and ensuring that critical research administration data are captured accurately for institutional reporting, compliance, and decision-making.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or in a discipline appropriate to position is required.
Experience: Five (5) years of directly related administrative experience in the area of research administration or sponsored programs.
Supervisory Experience: Two (2) years of experience in training, work coordination, and monitoring work of others or direct supervision.
Certification/Licensure: Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification preferred.
Other: Financial disclosure reporting required by State of Maryland Ethics Committee.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 undergraduate college credits being equivalent to one year of related experience. In instances where specific education and/or experience is required only directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.

Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently. $94,000 - $99,000 per year / Commensurate with education and experience
