+ Location: Remote

Resource Group associates filling remote roles are expected to be available for meetings and work-related needs between 9AM-4PM CST to ensure cohesion and collaboration. Customer-facing positions may have different preferences discussed during the interview process.

**Responsibilities**

This role is part of The Resource Group's Strategic Sourcing Solution, focusing on contracting for supplies and services aligned with caregiver criteria, and developing innovative contracting approaches to drive savings. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Contract Design to develop negotiation strategies
  • Negotiating pricing and contracts to minimize risk
  • Ensuring sourcing strategies comply with regulations and policies
  • Managing contracts, amendments, and product changes
  • Analyzing sourcing data, market trends, and benchmarking for improvements
  • Building relationships with Finance, Risk, Legal, and Contract teams
  • Reporting on category strategies and supplier management
  • Managing Sourcing Agents through assignments and evaluations
  • Reviewing financial data and maximizing program benefits with Participants
  • Representing The Resource Group in supplier interactions

**Requirements**

Education:

  • High School diploma with 3 years of experience OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Leadership or management experience preferred.

**Additional Preferences**

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience in healthcare supply chain or project management
