Job Location

This position is remote, and candidates can sit in the states of AK, WA, OR, CA, NV, MT, or TX.

Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to provide excellence in applications, including implementations and support for Providence St Joseph Health and affiliated organizations. Responsibilities include managing applications (typically one to two teams), supporting departmental and IS strategic goals, resource planning, application service operations, and department budget management. This role also involves supporting application roadmaps, implementation, optimization activities, and ensuring the success of new Epic and third-party product integrations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
• Epic certification within 90 days of hire.
• Applicable Epic Certification to be completed within 3 months of the last class required for certification.
• Some application suites require advanced certification, such as Epic.
• 4 years of leadership experience.
• 6 years of healthcare or information services experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working in a healthcare environment.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership in an IS application environment.
• People management experience with teams of 15–20 members.
• Experience managing process improvements, engineering efficiency, product time-to-market, value-stream analysis, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Epic EMR and Bridges.
• Knowledge of CorePoint, FTP protocol, and GlobalScape is preferred.
