Job summary

Transportation Management Services Inc. (TMS) in Los Angeles is seeking a Manager of Planning, Scheduling and Rostering to lead vehicle and driver schedules on the Optibus platform for high-profile events.

This onsite temporary role reports to the Senior Manager and spans through August 2028. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in transit scheduling, GTFS familiarity, and strong Excel skills, with collaborative experience across Operations, Fleet, and HR to drive reliable, cost-efficient transport

Qualifications

• Experience in transit scheduling, run-cutting and rostering.
• Experience with Optibus or similar platforms.
• Familiar with GTFS data and route planning.
• Fluent in English with strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize vehicle and driver schedules for assigned routes and events.
• Perform run-cutting and rostering to minimize deadhead and overtime.
• Translate schedule changes into accurate updates and ensure compliance.
• Analyze performance data and generate reports for leadership.
• Coordinate with Operations, Fleet, and HR for resource readiness.
