Job summary

NetJets seeks a Scheduling Manager to lead the Scheduling Team in Columbus, OH. You will coach and mentor staff, align capacity with demand, and coordinate with Maintenance and EJM to ensure adequate aircraft and crews.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational excellence, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Logistics or Data Analytics with 6-8 years in scheduling, and be prepared for irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

• Creates and achieves departmental goals by coaching, developing and mentoring employees.

• Coordinates with Operational Capacity, Maintenance, and EJM teams to ensure adequate assets to meet demand.
• Plans and coordinates non-standard events with the Operations team, including offsite support when needed.
• Provides input on development, testing, and training of technology initiatives affecting the Scheduling Team.

Purpose of Position

The Scheduling Manager provides a strong leadership presence to the scheduling teams through regular check-ins, team meetings, and in-the-moment feedback to develop, train, and coach employees to perform their duties more efficiently and effectively while creating a respectful, trusting, and accountable environment.

Tasks And Responsibilities

Creates and achieves departmental goals by coaching, developing and mentoring employees.

Manages employee performance, behavior, and development to mitigate foreseeable risks. Identify and nurture high-performing individuals for succession planning.

Coordinates with Operational Capacity, Maintenance, and EJM teams to ensure the correct number of assets (crews and aircraft) are available to meet demand.

Manages, coordinates, and plans non-standard events with the Operations team which may include traveling for offsite support when necessary.

Provides input and feedback to the Operations and Solutions Managers on the development, testing, and training of all technology initiatives that directly impact the Scheduling Team.
