Job summary

The National MS Society is seeking a Manager, Response Marketing to run the day-to-day operations of our offline direct response program. You will manage the agency of record, route campaigns through review, and ensure quality across all activity while driving donor acquisition.

In this role you will partner with teams across the organization, test new channels, and optimize campaigns to grow revenue from individual donors. Flexible remote work and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of fundraising project management and marketing campaign execution experience.
  • Knowledge of revenue generation through mail, email, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong organizational relationships, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to create and implement tactical and strategic plans with segmentation.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • 3 years experience leveraging customer databases for direct marketing fundraising campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing/editing direct marketing copy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the offline direct response program, including the agency of record and campaign routing.
  • Identify and test opportunities to expand offline direct response into new channels, formats, and audiences.
  • Drive and incorporate internal creative feedback, reviewing and editing all campaign versions.
  • Assist the AVP, Response Marketing with day-to-day priorities and program needs.
  • Build relationships with teams within Response Marketing and across other departments.
  • Coordinate production and fulfillment with external partners and vendors for cost-effective campaigns.
  • Develop creative concepts and content for campaigns in partnership with other teams.
  • Incorporate surround sound tactics into direct response campaigns to extend reach across channels.
  • Ensure the giving pipeline runs smoothly with mid-level and major giving teams.
  • Manage the Society’s tax receipt process, including data and creative.
  • Oversee mail processing and production of direct response materials with stakeholders.
  • Manage joint cost allocation reporting with the agency of record and routing changes.
  • Prepare and manage expense detail reports.

Job Summary:

The Manager, Response Marketing runs the day-to-day operations of the offline direct response program, managing the agency of record relationship, routing campaigns through the review process, and providing oversight and quality control across all direct response activity. The role also supports the AVP, Response Marketing and builds relationships with teams across a large department and the broader organization to help drive revenue growth from individual donors and build a strong donor acquisition pipeline.

Location Requirements
  • Remote- Flexible Location
  • Work is primarily performed remotely, however, when possible and necessary, teams meet in person to conduct the business of the organization and build team relationships.
Compensation | Benefits:

The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $63,000 - $70,000. Final offers will be based on the candidate'sgeographic location, consider career experience, and may vary from this range due to these and other factors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships and work closely with teams within Response Marketing and across other departments.

What We're Looking For:
