Base pay range

$117,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Join the Business Agility organization within Global Risk Solutions! We seek a dynamic, people-first leader for the Policy Servicing Portfolio within the Underwriting Domain. This portfolio covers most of GRS' business segments and includes a diverse set of Policy Administration systems, both legacy and modern. Our focus is on supporting insurance lifecycle capabilities, especially Post-Bind Transactions (e.g., new business booking) and Policy Financials (e.g., premium allocation). As a manager of Product Owners, you will shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our products, ensuring strategic investments and delivering value to customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Development: Manage and mentor five Product Owners, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Vision and Execution: Drive initiatives that solve real problems, improve user experience, and achieve measurable outcomes. Develop and communicate product visions and roadmaps.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across business, technology, and agility teams to align priorities and resources.
  • Delivery Management: Oversee project scope delivery, work with teams on user stories, and prioritize user needs.
  • Analytical Leadership: Lead feasibility, cost, and benefit analyses using data-driven insights.
  • Success Measurement: Set and track OKRs and KPIs to monitor product health and inform decisions.
  • Collaboration: Act as a bridge between business and technology teams.
  • Hands-On Involvement: Step in as Product Owner when needed to provide leadership.

The preferred location is within 50 miles of Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; Boston, MA; or Plano, TX. Remote work may be considered.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in business, engineering, technology, or consulting, with a relevant bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen to prioritize and understand business value.
  • Technical proficiency for sprint planning and informed decision-making.
  • Influencing skills to act as a decision-maker and challenge teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Comfort with decision-making under uncertainty.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
