Job Summary:

The Pool Manager is responsible for operating the entire swimming complex facility, the swimming pool employees, and the safety of those who use the facility. They have the financial responsibility of the aquatic programs.

Day-to-Day:

• Hire and supervise all pool personnel to ensure the staff are well-trained and create a safe environment for those who use the facility.
• Conduct in-service training drills bi-monthly to maintain safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize swimming pool (includes cleaning pool & backwash filters, skimming pool surfaces, and checking that chemicals in pool are at ideal levels).
• Ensure that all equipment (i.e., railings, ropes, pumps, etc.) are in good working order, and provide repair/replacement as needed.
• Procure chemicals, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Oversee all programs created for the aquatics department.

About You:

• 2 - 3 years' experience in pool operation & aquatics
• County Pool Operator Certificate, YMCA/Red Cross/Ellis Lifeguard certified, American Heart Association/Red Cross CPR, Red Cross Standard First Aid, WSI Certified
