Job Summary

The Pool Manager is responsible for operating the entire swimming complex facility, managing the swimming pool employees, and ensuring the safety of those who use the facility. They also oversee the financial aspects of the aquatic programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Hire and supervise all pool personnel to ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct bi-monthly safety training drills.
• Maintain cleanliness and chemical balance of the pool.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Procure necessary chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Oversee all programs created for the aquatics department.

About You

• 2-3 years' experience in pool operation & aquatics.
• County Pool Operator Certificate, YMCA/Red Cross/Ellis Lifeguard certification, CPR, First Aid, WSI Certified.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
