Job summary

Jefferson Regional is seeking a Director for the 340B/Retail Pharmacy to oversee administration and compliance of the 340B Drug Pricing Program and lead the organization's retail pharmacy operations. The role involves developing and monitoring the program to ensure alignment with federal regulations while delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and customer service.

The position requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage complex programs with cross-department

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree: Pharmacy required. Master's Degree in Pharmacy preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited pharmacy college recognized by ACPE
• Current Licensure with Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Advanced 340B Operations Certificate (340B ACE) - preferred.
• Five (5) years of retail pharmacy management experience and working knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of 340B Statute, HRSA/OPA Regulations and compliance requirements.
• Three (3) years' experience on the Covered Entity side of contract pharmacy arrangements.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and compliance of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the organization's 340B program to align with federal regulations.
• Provide leadership for Jefferson Regional's retail pharmacy operations.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance and high levels of customer service.
• Develop and execute strategy for pharmacy operations.

What You Should Know About the Director- 340B/ Retail Pharmacy:

• Monday- Friday: Typical hours 8:00-4:30. No weekends or call.
• This position is based within Jefferson Regional 340B Program Department

Job Summary:

The Director - 340B/Retail Pharmacy oversees the administration and compliance of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, a federal program designed to help eligible healthcare providers purchase medications at reduced prices. This role includes developing, implementing, and monitoring the organization's 340B program to ensure alignment with federal regulations. This role also provides leadership for Jefferson Regional's retail pharmacy operations, which includes ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, effective and safe delivery of pharmaceutical care, high levels of customer service are maintained, and strategy is effectively developed and executed.

Director- 340B/ Retail Pharmacy Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree: Pharmacy required. Master's Degree in Pharmacy preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited pharmacy college recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (APCE)
• Current Licensure with Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Advanced 340B Operations Certificate (340B ACE)- preferred.
• This position is a safety sensitive position. *
• Five (5) years of retail pharmacy management experience and working knowledge of compliance requirements
• Knowledge of 340B Statute, HRSA/OPA Regulations and compliance requirements
• Three (3) years' experience on the Covered Entity side of contract pharmacy arrangements.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to effect collaborative alliances, promote teamwork and ensure a high degree of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work as a team player or autonomously with strong organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with vendors and other departments to keep multiple tasks on track and bring projects successfully to completion.
• Strong skills in standard Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
• Ability to initiate and follow through on complex programs of both short and long-term duration.
• Highly developed problem-solving skills including the ability to identify and resolve complex problem

• Preferred Requirements

  :
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operations and inventory management systems and data analysis
  • Understanding of healthcare finance and billing.
  • Management experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • Experience developing or managing Medication Therapy Management programs
