Job Description
The Manager, Material Requirements and Detailed Scheduling Planning OMP Continuous Improvement is responsible for guiding the evolution of planning processes through OMP enhancements. Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, Sr. Manager Integration, and Scrum Master, the role represents the end user while integrating business‑process leadership (45%), functional SME support (25%), and product‑delivery execution (30%).
Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Leadership
- Identify high‑priority business pain points and translate them into process and system improvement opportunities.
- Lead current‑state and future‑state process analysis to define requirements, expected outcomes, and success measures.
- Maintain and prioritize the backlog in Jira based on business needs, user pain points, and value opportunities.
- Define and support value measurement approaches to confirm enhancements deliver expected business benefits.
- SME Expertise
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Material Requirements and Detailed Scheduling planning processes in OMP continuous improvement efforts.
- Guide functional and process design discussions with OMP and KHC IT to ensure solutions align with business priorities and operating realities.
- Product Delivery / Execution
- Support feature/enhancement delivery through design, testing, defect resolution, implementation, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Partner with the Center of Excellence on change management, training, and rollout of new functionality and processes.
- Contribute to Agile team execution by tracking priorities, actions, and delivery progress through Jira and related tools.
Qualifications
- Business Process Leadership
- Ability to translate business pain points into clear requirements, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
- Strong ability to connect business process needs to system enhancement opportunities.
- Change management experience preferred; experience leading or influencing process design, continuous improvement, and business change efforts.
- Strong cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working across business, IT, and external partners.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment.
- Functional experience with Snowflake SQL and Power BI preferred.
- Interest in using AI models like Claude to analyze and parse data and solve business problems required.
- SME Expertise
- Expertise in Material Requirements and/or Detailed Scheduling Planning.
- SAP and/or OMP expertise preferred.
- Product Delivery / Execution
- Experience in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Experience using Jira or similar tools to manage backlog and delivery progress.
- Budget creation and maintenance experience preferred.

Compensation
New Hire Base Salary Range: $104,200.00 – $130,200.00. Position eligible for a performance‑based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
