Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago/Glenview is seeking a Group Lead, IT – Supply Chain Planning Capabilities to define and execute the technology strategy for end‑to‑end Integrated Business Planning across the enterprise. You will partner with IBP leaders and stakeholders to align objectives, drive platform adoption, and deliver measurable value through SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, or Anaplan.

The role requires 8+ years in IT and 5+ years of leadership, with a track record in large‑scale planning transformations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years in IT, Digital Supply Chain, Enterprise Planning, or Business Transformation.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles managing technology teams, products, or enterprise platforms.
  • Experience supporting Integrated Business Planning, S&OP, and related planning functions.
  • Led enterprise technology transformations and large-scale planning platform implementations.

Group Lead, IT – Supply Chain Planning Capabilities

Define and execute the technology strategy, roadmap, and product portfolio that enable end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) across the enterprise. Serve as the primary technology partner for IBP business leaders, ensuring seamless integration of demand, supply, inventory, financial, and strategic planning processes through scalable digital solutions, advanced analytics, and enterprise planning platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the global technology strategy, vision, and multi‑year roadmap for Integrated Business Planning capabilities.
  • Partner with Global IBP Capability Owners and senior business stakeholders to align business objectives, planning maturity goals, and technology investments.
  • Develop technology strategies that enable integrated decision‑making across demand, supply, inventory, manufacturing, procurement, financial planning, and executive business reviews.
  • Maintain end‑to‑end ownership and accountability for IBP products, platforms, and enterprise planning solutions.
  • Establish product vision, governance, investment priorities, and delivery roadmaps across the IBP technology portfolio.
  • Ensure planning platforms are scalable, reliable, secure, and capable of supporting evolving business requirements.
  • Lead platform lifecycle management, including enhancements, upgrades, vendor management, and continuous optimisation.
  • Drive adoption and value realisation from enterprise planning solutions such as SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or equivalent platforms.
  • Serve as the primary technology partner to IBP leadership, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and Operations stakeholders.
  • Facilitate alignment between business priorities and technology capabilities to enable integrated planning processes and decision‑making.
  • Lead the evaluation and disposition of capability gaps, determining optimal solutions through build, buy, scale, or transformation approaches.
  • Translate business requirements into integrated technology solutions that deliver measurable operational and financial value.
  • Lead architecture, solution design, integration, prototyping, and testing strategies for IBP technologies.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, ERP, and Data & Analytics platforms.
  • Establish scalable technology and integration frameworks that enable cross‑functional planning visibility and scenario analysis.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for IBP products, platforms, and business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback, business performance measures, and platform analytics.
  • Leverage advanced analytics and planning insights to improve forecast accuracy and planning alignment, inventory optimisation, supply and capacity utilisation, and more.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of Tech Delivery leads, Business Analysts, and Platform (tech) Specialists.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, Digital Supply Chain, Enterprise Planning, or Business Transformation.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technology teams, products, platforms, or enterprise capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Integrated Business Planning, S&OP, Supply Chain Planning, Financial Planning, or Enterprise Planning functions.
  • Proven track record leading enterprise technology transformations and large‑scale planning platform implementations.
  • Experience influencing senior executives and leading cross‑functional business initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of Integrated Business Planning processes, including:
    • Demand Planning
    • Supply Planning
    • Inventory Planning
    • Promotion / Trade Planning
    • Financial Planning Integration
    • Executive Business Review processes
  • Experience with enterprise planning platforms such as SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle, or equivalent solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud platforms, APIs, and data management.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology capabilities to enterprise business objectives.
  • Strong change leadership and organisational transformation experience.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $141,500.00 – $176,900.00

Bonus: Eligibility for a performance‑based bonus as per plan terms.
