Baptist Health in Kentucky seeks a Manager of Security & Valet Services with 24-hour responsibility for the hospital's Security and Valet programs. This role manages daily operations and addresses security, safety, and customer service issues, coordinating with the Director, Security Officers, and Valet Attendants.
You will assist employees, patients, and visitors with security and valet matters, investigate incidents, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
The Manager of Security & Valet Services has 24-hour responsibility for the oversight and management of the hospital’s Security and Valet programs. This position manages the day-to-day operations of both departments and is responsible for addressing security, safety, and customer service-related issues. The Manager assists employees, patients, and visitors with security and valet-related matters and provides continuity and communication between the Director, Security Officers, and Valet Attendants. Additional responsibilities include investigating security-related incidents, supporting a safe and welcoming environment, and ensuring a high level of service for patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements: A minimum of two years of security management experience is required, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. A valid driver’s license is required. BCLS certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Experience with the TASER X26P, including course completion and instructor certification, is preferred; however, required training and certification must be completed after hire if not already obtained. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are highly desired for this key position.
