Overview

Renuity is searching for a Manager of Employee Relations to oversee the policies, procedures, and programs of Renuity’s employee relations organization, developing and improving programs related to employee morale and satisfaction. Collaboration with stakeholders providing consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementation and initiatives is critical. This role will build, evolve, and drive a modernized approach to serving employees as valued customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of employee relations processes.
  • Serve as an expert Employee Relations manager overseeing sensitive HR escalations while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead investigations into employee complaints, alleged misconduct, and violations of workplace policies, ensuring thoroughness, impartiality, and compliance with legal, ethical standards, and organizational standards.
  • Independently manage and prioritize an investigation caseload, balancing proper documentation, thorough interviews, stakeholder communication, report writing, coaching, and timely resolution.
  • Use surveys, interviews, and other studies to conduct research regarding human resource policies and other employment concerns, making recommendations on changes.
  • Synthesize and analyze data, trends, and opportunities from various internal systems to facilitate proactive risk mitigation and early issue resolution and improve organizational health.
  • Research and explain laws and legal affairs concerning employment to managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Advise and train managers and supervisors in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances. Develop further training as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR Compliance/Legal on matters of policy and procedures.
  • Understand unique needs and nuances of all employee populations to provide tailored support and resources via the Employee Relations organization.
  • Integrate core values, integrity, and accountability throughout all organizational and HR practices.
  • Provide counsel to employees and managers on concerns related to applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and other similar federal and state laws.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements such as EEO, FLSA, FMLA and ADA.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
  • At least five years of related experience required, including three years of management experience.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of human resources and labor relations principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, executives, and other stakeholders.
  • Working understanding of statistical concepts and methods of data collection.
  • Ability to compile, research, and analyze information with the ability to compose and present comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
