Job summary

Brown University’s Swearer Center seeks a Manager, Community-Engaged Learning to lead programs, partnerships, and cohorts, including the Laidlaw Scholars program. You will design events, workshops, and opportunities that connect student learning with community impact.

The role emphasizes advising fellows, program evaluation, collaboration across campus, and representing the Center with external organizations. This is a hybrid, full-time, two-year term with potential renewal based on funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years' relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong skills in management, program structure and processes, documentation and assessment.
• Collaborative work style with ability to build collaborations with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Swearer Center programs, co-curricular initiatives, and partnerships.
• Design and implement community-engaged learning opportunities (events, workshops, programming).
• Advise fellows and track program evaluation data in collaboration with staff.
• Represent the Center at campus, classroom, and community events.
