Job summary

Qualifications

• High-level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated editing and writing ability with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively on visioning, planning, and editing.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multi-deadline projects.
• Initiative and judgment to independently problem solve and prioritize priorities.
• Fluency with Google Workspace and social media platforms; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Drupal.
• Photography/videography or event planning is a plus.
• Commitment to social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide communications support across functional areas within the Swearer Center.
• Produce stories and narrative content and interview constituencies for highlights.
• Coordinate engagement and constituency-building with students, faculty, staff, alumni and partners.
• Develop and manage communications across platforms: social media, websites, newsletters, print materials.
• Support copy editing, content production, and communications logistics.
• Maintain communications calendar, assets, photography, and metrics reporting.
