Community Health Network is seeking a Manager of Nursing to co-lead the Emergency Department at Community Hospital South. The role focuses on sustaining high clinical standards, service excellence, and strong patient-physician relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RN experience required.
• 3+ years of management/leadership experience preferred.
• 3+ years of emergency department experience strongly preferred.
• 2-year/associate degree graduate of NLN, CCNE, or ACEN.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency required.
• Certification in Nursing Administration within three years of assuming the role.
• Knowledge and ability to apply Performance Improvement philosophy.
• Ability to manage departmental budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, be flexible, and problem-solve.

The Manager of Nursing will co-lead our Emergency Department at Community Hospital South. The manager will achieve the goals and objectives of the department through the development of new partnerships between team members, physicians, and the network, consistent with the values, mission, and the vision of Community Health Network. The Manager serves as a leader in providing excellent service, clinical standards, and patient satisfaction goals including patient/physician relationships and staff rounding. This position will ensure staff meets departmental workload and assignments reflect appropriate utilization of personnel, scope of practice, competencies, patient needs, and level of care. The Manager will utilize evidence-based practices regarding patient mix, resulting in improved clinical outcomes, and increased patient satisfaction.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• 5 (five) or more years of RN experience is required.


• 3 (three) or more years of management/leadership experience is preferred.


• 3 (three) or more years of emergency experience strongly preferred.


• 2-year / associate degree Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).


• Bachelor's degree preferred.


• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency required.


• Certification required in relevant specialty or Nursing Administration within three years of assuming the role.


• Knowledge and ability to apply Performance Improvement philosophy.
