Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic Ambassadors to coordinate daily activities across retail, games, vending and photo units, focusing on profit and ambassador safety. You will maintain staff morale while delivering exceptional guest service in a dynamic environment.

The role requires leadership in a high-volume setting, strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills to engage ambassadors and guests. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or relatable experience.
• Experience in managing teams in high-volume settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of retail, games/vending, and photo units to enhance profit and ambassador safety.
• Maintain ambassador satisfaction and morale while providing excellent guest service.
• Provide professional guest service in a team environment and create revenue opportunities.
• Manage labor, expenses, and cost of goods budgets.
• Communicate effectively with ambassadors, vendors and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you get to do:

Coordinate the daily activities of several retail, games/vending, and photo units the location, while focusing on profit enhancement and ambassador safety. Maintain ambassador satisfaction and morale while providing excellent guest service. Provide exceptional, professional guest service in a team environment Create new and incremental revenue opportunities Manage labor, expense, and cost of goods budget Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or relatable experience. Three (3) years management and/or supervisory experience, preferred setting in a theme park or high-volume retail. Proficient in Microsoft software products. Demonstrated initiative, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; Confident and outgoing presence with the ability to professional interact with various levels of ambassadors and leadership. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with a detailed oriented style and strict deadlines. Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills

What else is important:

Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing) Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals Available to work varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
