Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to ensure a safe and efficient operation. You will oversee receiving, stocking and distribution of park merchandise while coaching teammates and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include upholding safety policies, performing stock counts, and assisting with cleanliness. The role requires forklift operation, CPR/ServSafe readiness, and communication with park leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain company driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to obtain SeaWorld forklift certification and Class D driver’s license.
• Comfortable with all food types, including allergens in dining facilities.
• Able to pass CPR training/certification.
• SeaWorld ServSafe Food Manager certification test preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds with assistance.
• Willing to work varying park hours including openings/closings.
• Leadership and warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.
• Maintain flow of goods and merchandise between warehouse, staff and external clientele.
• Receive, check-in, price mark, store and transport resale merchandise and supplies.
• Record and dispose of non-salable merchandise.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs.
• Provide frontline leadership in policies, personnel, security and safety.
• Recommend changes to policies and procedures in assigned area.
• Take stock counts to maintain balanced flow of goods.
• Minimize loss of company property and merchandise.
• Assist with warehouse cleanliness and detailed cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Make a continuing and diligent effort to minimize the loss of company property and/or merchandise due to internal or external damage or theft
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of warehouse, to include extensive detail cleaning
• Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
• A working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Able to obtain SeaWorld forklift certification and Class D driver’s license
• Comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facility
• Able to complete and pass provided CPR training/certification
• Contingent in the successful completion of the ServSafe Food Manager certification test
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
• Able to climb a ladder to heights up to 12 feet
• Able to communicate effective with ambassadors, guests and leadership
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to push/pull 300 pounds with assistance
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Previous Warehouse experience preferred
• Possession or pursuit of a bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of SAP applications preferred

Compensation:

15.00 USD
