Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse with leadership skills for a full-time position in a senior living community. The role includes nursing care, health assessments, care planning, and participation in a Manager on Duty rotation approximately every 6 weeks.

You will recruit and supervise staff, implement dementia-centered care plans, coordinate admissions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse required.
• Candidates may be considered with caregiver certifications beneficial to the community plus management experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or Gerontology preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of management experience in directing/providing dementia care for seniors preferred.
• A strong background in patient care assessment, assessing resident behavioral symptoms and developing non-pharmacologic approaches to meeting resident needs.
• Has experience in community or long-term care settings.
• Must meet all state requirements.

Job Description

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, plus participation in a Manager on Duty rotation approximately every 6 weeks (Saturday and Sunday).

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

This position may occasionally fill in on the weekend as a Manager-On-Duty.
