Job Description
Job Summary

Collects, validates, analyzes, and organizes data into meaningful reports for management decision making. Designs, develops, tests, and deploys reports to end users for operational and strategic analysis.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Manages and provides oversight of Medical Economics Team activities and personnel. Offers technical expertise, manages relationships with operational leaders and staff. Directs staff on projects, maintains work plans, and ensures reporting needs are met. Responsible for staff performance, coaching, development, and career growth.

  1. Manage Data, Tools & Technology work streams daily.
  2. Allocate report/project requests and distribute workload.
  3. Coordinate with Medical Economics team for data analysis and database development.
  4. Review and improve business logic and data sources.
  5. Mentor and support staff with analysis questions.
  6. Review analyst work products for accuracy and clarity.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and documentation.
  8. Maintain reporting service level benchmarks.
  9. Represent Medical Economics in cross-departmental meetings.
  10. Act as liaison between EIM and Medical Economics for reporting needs.
  11. Create reports for strategic, profitability, financial analysis, and utilization patterns.
  12. Maintain positive interactions with Health Plan and Corporate personnel.
Job Qualifications
Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Required Experience
  • At least 3 years of management or team leadership experience.
  • Preferably 10 years of work experience with claims data and/or in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI report development.
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts and SDLC.
Preferred Education

Master's Degree in related fields.

Preferred Experience
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience.
  • Experience in Population Health/Clinical Analytics.
  • Experience in Clinical Program Evaluation.
  • Experience building clinical targeting models for Case Management.
  • Interest or experience in Python/PySpark.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Interest in healthcare analytics and domain knowledge.
  • Self-motivated to learn and grow.
