Job Description
Job Summary

Collects, validates, analyzes, and organizes data into meaningful reports for management decision making. Designs, develops, tests, and deploys reports for operational and strategic analysis.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Manages and provides oversight of Medical Economics Team activities and personnel. Offers technical expertise, manages relationships with operational leaders and staff. Directs project staff, maintains internal and project work plans to meet reporting needs. Responsible for staff timekeeping, performance coaching, development, and career paths.

  • Daily management of Data Management, Tools & Technology work stream.
  • Allocates new report/project requests (workload distribution).
  • Coordinates with Medical Economics team to meet data analysis and database development needs.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and improves business logic and data sources.
  • Mentors, coaches, and supports staff with analysis questions.
  • Reviews Medical Economics analyst work products for accuracy and clarity.
  • Reviews regulatory reporting requirements and project documentation.
  • Maintains reporting service level benchmarks for EIM team.
  • Represents Medical Economics in cross-departmental meetings.
  • Serves as liaison between EIM and Medical Economics regarding reporting needs.
  • Creates reports for strategic analysis, profitability, financial analysis, utilization patterns, and medical management.
  • Maintains positive interactions with Health Plan and Corporate personnel.
Job Qualifications
Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Required Experience
  • 3 years management or team leadership experience.
  • Preferably 10 years’ work experience with claims data and/or in healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, and Power BI report development.
  • Familiar with relational database concepts and SDLC concepts.
Preferred Education

Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Experience
  • 3–5 years supervisory experience.
  • Experience in Population Health/Clinical Analytics.
  • Experience in Clinical Program Evaluation.
  • Experience in building clinical targeting models for Case Management.
  • Interest or experience in Python/PySpark.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong healthcare interest with understanding of analytics nuances.
  • Self-motivated to learn and expand domain knowledge and technical skills.

Pay Range: $88,453 - $165,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.
