Job summary

Wolfspeed in Durham, North Carolina is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the night-shift manufacturing team. You will oversee the production process, train and support staff, and ensure safety and efficiency on the floor.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and achieving production goals. The position requires an associate degree or higher, 1–2+ years in a leadership role in manufacturing (semiconductor preferred), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Here's the Gist :

You will lead an operations team at Wolfspeed's Durham Manufacturing Site in North Carolina. The Operations Supervisor oversees each aspect of the production process; trains and supports staff and provides vital information on production goals. Your leadership will set the tone for the team's success. Finally, Safety for your team and product are a vital responsibility.

This position will work a 12-hour night shift with a '2on-2off-3on' alternating schedule. Schedule will be Blue Nights 7:00pm-7:05am

The Day-to-Day :

• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees
• Maintain leadership presence by spending at least 80% of your time interacting on the floor

• Establish and communicate production priorities. Track performance and adjust priorities accordingly

• Provide team with constructive and timely feedback. Enforce company and local policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all levels in the organization.

This Job is R ight for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements) :

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Manufacturing experience with 1-2+ years in a leadership role, preferred manufacturing experience as a front-line supervisor (3-5 years) or relevant military experience
• Passion to inspire and develop employees while working in a dynamic, fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Ability to handle change quickly and efficiently - Fast paced work environment
