Position Details:

• Compensation: $75,000 – 80,000 per year with a 20% annual bonus potential
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Day shift, with some after-hours on calls as needed.
• Travel: 5% help with a project at a depot or meet with a vendor.

Position Purpose:

The Maintenance Manager position reports to the Operations Manager and is a mechanically inclined maintenance professional that has experience in Ammonia systems, Conveyor systems, Warehouse Management control systems, and Preventative maintenance schedules. A successful candidate will have the ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships along with strong leadership skills, educator, decision maker, and problem solving.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build relationship with third party vendors.
• Ability to solve maintenance problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where minimal standardization exists.
• Ability to perform assigned job duties under constant time pressures.
• Record data from main electrical panels.
• Inspect various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems, record data from inspections, generator, and refrigeration systems.
• Work with third party vendors on testing sprinkler system’s water flow, tamper switches and sprinkler system alarms.
• Assess fire pump and alarm.
• Inspect all equipment and repair/ replace as necessary to avoid down time.
• Managing relationships with interdepartmental individuals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building operations, facilities management, or a related field
• 5+ years’ knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and security systems
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
