A leading boutique branding and creative agency is seeking a Print Design Manager / Client Manager to oversee print design for a well-known healthcare company. This full-time remote position requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience and a keen attention to detail.
Our client, a boutique branding and creative agency is currently hiring for a Print Design Manager / Client Manager to join their team Fulltime.
This position will be primarily remote, but you must be based in the Tri-State area. You will be required to travel into Manhattan for client meetings.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong transactional approach, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills tailored to a professional healthcare environment.
Print Design Manager / Client Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the print design process from conception to completion for a well-known healthcare company
- Ensure high-quality deliverables meet client expectations
- Collaborate closely with the Client, the Printing Services Supplier, Requestors, design and production teams, and marketing leads to drive project success
- Partner with Requestors to ensure project success and understanding
- Partner with Designers to ensure project success and understanding
- Partner with the Printing Services Supplier to ensure timely receipt of pre-press design files
- Review project request forms and briefing materials to understand project requirements thoroughly
- Lead project management efforts, including initial brief gathering, providing guidance and following up as needed
- Manage design reviews for reprint-request materials and design development for minor revisions and new designs
- Support client's marketing leads and manage revisions based on end-user and marketing lead feedback
- Review proofs as needed to maintain quality control
- Ensure final documents are free of typos, misspellings, and production errors
- Spot review final products for overall quality
- Continually seek process improvements
- Create monthly and annual status reports based on agreed-upon parameters
- Maintain project tracking and attend status meetings as needed
Print Design Manager / Client Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years experience
- Proven experience in a design management role, preferably in a design firm or agency setting
- Healthcare experience / knowledge is a plus!
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and print production processes
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
