Job summary

Pinkfong USA, part of The Pinkfong Company, seeks a licensing professional to drive consumer products partnerships in Los Angeles. Hybrid role based in Century City with a 3-month probation and full-time employment.

You will identify licensing opportunities, manage relationships with licensees, negotiate terms, and craft growth strategies across toys, apparel, publishing, and more. Join a fast-paced, collaborative team shaping evergreen franchises.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years in consumer products licensing, brand management, or business development.
  • Experience managing licensing partners and driving growth across toy, apparel, publishing, and other categories.
  • Knowledge of licensing lifecycle: contracts, royalties, product development, and retail distribution.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with licensees, retailers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation, opportunity identification, and revenue-driving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pitch new licensing opportunities
  • Manage licensee relationships from commercial and strategic perspectives
  • Negotiate deal terms, renewals, guarantees, royalties, and territories
  • Assist with contract drafting and archive licensing agreements
  • Craft franchise plans, pitch decks, and growth strategies for licensing and retail

  • Develop retail campaigns and activations for product launches
  • Monitor partner performance and create action plans
  • Support Licensing Team in strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pitch new licensing opportunities
  • Manage licensee relationships from a commercial and strategic perspective
  • Negotiate deal terms, renewals, guarantees, royalties, and territories
  • Assist with contract drafting and manage the tracking and archiving of licensing agreements
  • Craft franchise plans, pitch decks, and category growth strategies to support licensing and retail expansion
  • Track sales performance, royalty reports, and revenue forecasts
  • Work with licensees to expand distribution and retail placement across key accounts, including Walmart, Target, Amazon, specialty, and value retailers
  • Develop retail campaign and activation strategies to support product launches and sell-through
  • Monitor partner performance and create action plans for underperforming licensees, categories, or retail accounts
  • Support the Licensing Team in executing strategic initiatives and driving cross-functional projects
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging consumer trends, product categories, and prospective licensing partners that support business growth
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in consumer products licensing, brand management, account management, or business development, preferably within the entertainment, media, or consumer products industries.
Demonstrated experience managing licensing partners and driving business growth across categories such as toys, apparel, publishing, home, food & beverage, health & beauty, or other consumer products.
Strong understanding of the consumer products licensing lifecycle, including contract execution, royalty reporting, product development, retail distribution, and brand management.
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with licensees, retailers, agents, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience identifying new business opportunities, negotiating commercial terms, and executing licensing strategies that drive revenue growth.
Working knowledge of retail and marketplace dynamics, with the ability to analyze category trends, identify whitespace opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external partners.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple licensing programs, product launches, and competing priorities simultaneously.
Highly collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and presentation software (PowerPoint and Google Slides).
Korean language proficiency is a plus, but not required.
