Job summary

This role covers governance, configuration, user support, training, reporting, and analytics in close collaboration with IT, administrators, and vendors. The ideal candidate has enterprise learning tech experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and can translate data into business insights to guide strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Instructional Design, HR or related field.
  • Significant experience implementing enterprise learning systems.
  • Hands-on LMS administration experience including Docebo is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary LMS administrator: configuration, user management, roles, permissions.
  • Configure pages, menus, channels, and assets for a consistent learner experience.
  • Maintain data privacy and security practices within the LMS.
  • Develop and maintain LMS docs, procedures, and guidelines.

Skip to content Back Manager, Legal Talent Technology & Analytics New York , New York| United States Direct Hire Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a Manager, Legal Talent Technology & Analytics to support the launch, administration, and continued optimization of the firm's learning management system. This role will serve as a key resource for LMS configuration, governance, user support, training, troubleshooting, reporting, and analytics while partnering closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, administrators, and external vendors. The ideal candidate brings significant experience managing enterprise learning technology, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate system data into actionable insights that enhance learning engagement and inform broader talent development strategy. Experience in tools like Docebo, Cornerstone OnDemand, Workday Learning, Litmos, and others, will be considered first. This position is based in the New York office and requires an in-office presence approximately 3-4 days per week. Prior law firm or legal experience is highly preferred.

System Oversight, Governance & Optimization
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Firm's LMS, managing system configuration, users, groups, branches, roles, and permissions
  • Configure and maintain pages, menus, channels, and system assets to provide a consistent, intuitive, and engaging learner experience
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate data privacy and security practices within the platform
  • Develop and maintain LMS documentation, procedures, and operating guidelines
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on the LMS vendor relationship, including testing, validating, and rolling out new features, releases, and system updates
  • Identify and implement process enhancements that improve system efficiency, data accuracy, and the overall user experience
  • Perform regular system checks to monitor performance, identify bugs and technical issues, and coordinate resolutions with internal IT teams and external vendors
  • Periodically review LMS taxonomy, content organization, and governance standards to promote consistency throughout the platform
Training & Troubleshooting Support
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for end users and department-specific LMS administrators
  • Develop documentation, guidance, and best practices for effective LMS usage
  • Support change management communications related to LMS implementation, adoption, major updates, enhancements, and process changes
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting learners and administrators
  • Work directly with the LMS provider on escalated issues and serve as a central point of contact for stakeholders and learners through resolution
Content, Reporting & Analytics
  • Partner with internal administrators to address day-to-day LMS operational needs, including course setup, enrollments, learning plans, certifications, and automated workflows
  • Collaborate with LMS administrators to develop frameworks for enhanced reporting and analytics
  • Evaluate system-wide metrics and trends, including user populations, usage frequency, engagement patterns, and content utilization
  • Use LMS reporting and analytics to generate actionable insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Translate learning system data into meaningful business intelligence and partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities that inform long-term learning strategy
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Significant years of experience implementing and maintaining an enterprise-wide learning system or comparable learning technology
  • Hands-on experience administering LMS platforms, with Docebo experience considered a plus
  • Experience with SCORM, xAPI, and SSO
  • Experience performing basic IT troubleshooting

Expected salary for this exempt role is $165,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
