Job summary

ADEA is seeking a skilled professional to manage the technical and logistical aspects of live webinars, including LMS management, speaker coordination, and post‑production editing. The role supports the VP, eLearn and collaborates with multiple teams within the association.

The ideal candidate has strong project management experience in academic or nonprofit settings, and is proficient with Zoom/Teams and Qualtrics, ensuring accurate compliance records and smooth event delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in project and program management.
  • Experience in academic, association, or nonprofit settings preferred.
  • Proficiency with LMS, LMS website management, and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all technical and logistical aspects of live webinars as directed by leadership.
  • Handle speaker correspondence and management.
  • Build and manage registrations in the LMS.
  • Moderate and produce live events and post‑production edits.
  • Collaborate with other ADEA staff and CEAC as needed.
  • Travel to member meetings to support ADEA events, including weekends.

Job description

Manage all technical and logistical aspects of live ADEA eLearn webinars, as directed by VP, eLearn.
Speaker correspondence and management.
Registration build and management in the LMS.
Moderation and production of live events.
Post-production editing and assessments.
Collaborate with other ADEA staff members.
Support the work of the ADEA Continuing Education Advisory Committee (CEAC).
Collaborate with the Director, Leadership Programs and Manager, Learning Analytics.

Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional education and experience required.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including project and program management.
  • Prior experience working in an academic, association or a non‑profit environment is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), PDF, Qualtrics, and webinar/meeting software such as Zoom/Teams.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and LMS website management.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete compliance records.
  • Must possess excellent judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and professional discretion with information.
  • Attention to detail, deadline orientation and flexibility required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self‑motivated, confident, proactive and comfortable working independently.
  • Poise, tact, and diplomacy, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a diverse team environment and collaborate effectively with others.
  • The capacity to handle multiple tasks and the ability to remain positive and productive in demanding situations.
  • Ability to travel to member meetings to support ADEA events as needed, including some weekends.
