Job summary

The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY seeks a Manager – Instructional Design & Academic Operations to lead online and hybrid course design in partnership with faculty and SGPS. You will blend hands-on course development with program administration, LMS coordination, and documentation.

Collaborate with faculty and academic leadership to ensure accessible, pedagogically sound courses while supporting systems used by staff daily. Remote/hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, curriculum & instruction, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in instructional design, preferably in higher education or online learning.
• Experience building or updating courses within a Learning Management System and collaborating with faculty on content.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update online and hybrid courses with faculty.
• Manage course materials, templates, and learning objects in the LMS.
• Review courses for accessibility and consistency; suggest improvements.
