Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Manager, Information Security to own the company’s overall security posture end-to-end. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on architecture across Azure, network, identity, and endpoint security to protect patient data and business operations.

You will partner with IT, clinical operations, and analytics teams to embed security into infrastructure and applications, while directing governance, risk, and incident response programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive information security experience.
• 2+ years in a security leadership role.
• Deep, hands-on experience with identity and access management, network security, endpoint/EDR, cloud security (Azure), vulnerability management, and SIEM/detection engineering.
• Experience leading incident response for real-world security incidents, coordinating with legal, executive leadership, and external parties.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risk into business terms for non-technical executives and board members.

Responsibilities

• Own security strategy, roadmap, and KPIs/metrics for the organization.
• Lead hands-on security architecture across identity, network, endpoint, cloud, and applications.
• Manage core security tooling: SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, email security, DLP, CASB, and IAM (Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Design and enforce secure cloud and network architecture in partnership with infrastructure teams.
• Lead vulnerability management and penetration testing programs, driving remediation.
• Own HIPAA compliance posture and regulatory risk responsibilities.
• Coordinate security audits, inquiries, and cyber insurance activities.
• Lead incident response and threat management efforts, coordinating with legal and executives.
