Job summary

QualDerm Partners seeks a Director, IT Infrastructure & Cloud to lead strategy, operations, and security posture across on-premises systems and Microsoft Azure cloud. This hands-on leadership role requires architectural expertise, regulatory knowledge (HIPAA/HITRUST), and the ability to scale across a multisite healthcare environment.

You will own the Azure-based cloud environment, drive modernization of clinic infrastructure, manage budgets, and mentor a high-performing team while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/CS or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive cloud infrastructure experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on Azure design, migration, and operation across multiple sites.
• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA/HITECH) and security risk reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, roadmap, and lifecycle management of infrastructure and Azure cloud environments.
• Lead cloud migrations, optimization, and hybrid-cloud initiatives with cost discipline.
• Direct 24/7 operations for infrastructure across all locations and manage SLAs/KPIs.
• Oversee budgeting, vendor contracts, and MSP relationships for reliability and compliance.
• Lead security incident response and alignment with security/compliance teams.
• Partner with executives to inform technology investments and risk management.
