Job summary

Indegene in Foster City seeks an Onsite Lead/Manager to drive the migration of Informatica MDM from on-prem to Informatica Cloud MDM for a major Life Sciences Commercial Operations program.

Position Overview: The Onsite Lead/Manager will oversee the end to end migration of Informatica MDM from an on premise environment to Informatica SaaS (Cloud MDM) for a major Life Sciences Commercial Operations program. This role requires strong hands on expertise in Informatica MDM (on prem and cloud), data modeling, match merge rules, hierarchy management, and integration patterns, combined with solid PySpark skills for data processing within cloud based Lakehouse environments.
The Lead will serve as the primary onsite liaison in Foster City, coordinating with business stakeholders, IT teams, offshore development teams, and external vendors to ensure a seamless, compliant, and high quality migration of critical commercial master data assets.

Key Responsibilities

• MDM Migration Leadership
  • Lead the full lifecycle migration of Informatica MDM On Prem to Informatica Cloud MDM (SaaS) including assessment, design, remediation, migration, validation, and cutover.
  • Define migration strategy, sequencing, dependency mapping, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Oversee conversion of:
    • Data models
    • Match merge rules
    • Trust and survivorship logic
    • Hierarchies and relationships
    • Business entity configurations
  • Ensure alignment with Life Sciences commercial data governance standards.
• Life Sciences Commercial Data Expertise
  • Manage ingestion, mastering, and harmonization of commercial datasets including:
    • HCP/HCO master data
    • Roster, Territory, Alignment
    • Veeva CRM entities (Accounts, Contacts, Affiliations)
    • Sales data (IQVIA, Claims, Specialty Pharmacy)
  • Ensure MDM outputs support downstream systems such as CRM, Incentive Compensation, Targeting, and Field Reporting.
• PySpark & Cloud Data Engineering
  • Build and optimize PySpark pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and validation during migration.
  • Work within cloud environments (AWS, Databricks, or equivalent) to support large scale data processing.
  • Implement automated reconciliation, data quality checks, and audit frameworks using PySpark.
• Stakeholder & Onsite Coordination
  • Serve as the onsite lead in Foster City, coordinating daily with:
    • Commercial Operations
    • IT Data Management
    • CRM teams
    • Field Analytics
    • Vendor and offshore development teams
  • Conduct onsite workshops, requirement sessions, design reviews, and UAT support.
  • Provide clear communication, documentation, and status reporting to leadership.
• Data Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure migration adheres to Life Sciences compliance standards including:
    • HIPAA
    • GxP
    • SOC2
    • Data privacy and stewardship guidelines
  • Implement governance for master data quality, lineage, and stewardship workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in Informatica MDM (on prem and cloud/SaaS).
• Proven experience leading MDM migration projects end to end.
• Strong hands on experience with:
  • Informatica MDM Hub
  • Informatica Cloud MDM / Customer 360
  • Match merge, trust rules, hierarchies
  • IDD configuration and workflows
• Solid proficiency in PySpark, Python, SQL, and distributed data processing.
• Experience with Life Sciences commercial datasets (HCP/HCO, CRM, IQVIA, Claims).
• Strong understanding of master data governance, stewardship, and data quality frameworks.
• Ability to work onsite in Foster City and lead cross functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks, AWS, or Azure cloud ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Veeva CRM data models and integrations.
• Experience with commercial operations processes (IC, targeting, roster management).
• Prior experience in large scale pharma or biotech data modernization programs.
